ABOUT GAME

"UPON A HILL" is a humorous action-adventure game set in a whimsical, old England-inspired world. The player, moving on one leg, embarks on a quest to retrieve their stolen leg from a psychotic serial legger. Each level presents unique outdoor environments with themed enemies and specific objectives, all wrapped in a medieval, King Arthur-esque setting.

It combines humor and adventure in a medieval setting. With engaging levels, whimsical enemies, and a unique protagonist, the game promises a fun and challenging experience. The development will focus on creating a polished, enjoyable game within a limited timeframe, ensuring each level is unique and memorable.

- Level 1: Collect a sock.

- Level 2: Collect leggings or a torn piece of trousers.

- Level 3: Collect a boot & Beat Boss.

Core Gameplay Mechanics

- Movement: The player character hops on one leg, able to move and jump.

- Combat: The player uses collected scissors as weapons to fight off themed enemies.

- Collection: The player collects pieces of cloth in each level to progress.

- Protagonist: A one-legged hero determined to retrieve their stolen leg: Clumsy Larry.

- Antagonist: The psychotic serial legger who has stolen the player's leg: Snipping Bob.

- Enemies: 

  - Level 1: Sock puppets.

  - Level 2: Trouser mannequins.

  - Level 3: Rogue boots (The 3 Caboose Brothers)

Art and Sound (In Second Iteration Release)

- Art Style: Whimsical, medieval-inspired with vibrant colors and fantastical elements.

- Sound Design: 

  - Music: Medieval-themed background music with whimsical tones.

  - Sound Effects: Environmental sounds (birds chirping, wind rustling), enemy sounds (sock puppets giggling, mannequins creaking, boots stomping), and player sounds (hopping, scissors cutting).
